How awesome are fonts?

As awesome as I say they are.

Ratings are based on appearances and uses Average, is 5, not 7.5.

Without much further ado...

Verdana: A bit thin, big and airy. Not ideal for chatting on forums, etc., but good for signatures. Bad kerning. 4/10.

Trebuchet: Somewhat like the above, though doesn't jump out as much. Less assuming. 6/10.

Times New Roman: Standard font. Reaaallly standard. Useful if style isn't of the essence, or you want to come off as intelligent. 5/10.

Helvetica: Similar to Verdana, though thinner, and with better kerning. Some letters blend together, though. 5.5/10.

Georgia: Trebuchet-shaped Times New Roman. More visible than latter. 6.5/10.

Courier: The 'robot font', as well as the 'war font'. Better for stylised messages, as is distracting with wide letters. 4/10.

Arial: Ugh. They took Helvetica, and made one important change: every letter is slightly, oh so slightly uglier than its counterpart. 3/10.
